Are you ready to eins, zwei, drei, trinken? Bay Street Biergarten will be hosting not one, but two, Oktoberfests this year for our 11th Annual Oktoberfest! Oktoberfest is a world-famous festival that celebrates the best of Bavarian culture, traditions, cuisine, and of course BIER! We are teaming up with Weihenstephaner, Holy City Brewing, and Deep Eddy to bring you the best Oktoberfest Charleston has to offer! Traditionally, Oktoberfest takes place from mid-or late- September to the first Sunday of October. So, this year we are hosting a 3-WEEK LONG Oktoberfest with an opening ceremony on Saturday, September 21 and a closing ceremony on Saturday, October 5th! We will have live music, games and of course our annual STEIN HOISTING COMPETITION for the opening ceremony and closing ceremony! The event will take place from 11 AM - 6 PM both days.

Bay Street Biergarten is located at 549 East Bay Street on the Charleston Peninsula in the historic neighborhood of Wraggborough. Featuring beautiful high ceilings, large communal tables, and German-influenced, high-end bar fare, it’s as close as you can get to an authentic Munich bier hall in the South.

We just finished a delicious brunch! Forgot to take pictures. The chicken and waffles is to die for-chicken perfectly cooked and flavorful. I enjoyed the avocado toast with a poached egg added. It was perfect and just the right amount! I love going here especially for the big screens and sports watching!
